Grossane is the typical black olive of the Vallée des Baux de Provence, brought back from the Crusades by the Lords of Baux, as legend has it. Prepared with dry salt and packaged without brine, it is distinguished with a Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.).
A round pulpy olive, with a mild fruity taste, it is hand-picked black in November. With its flavours of truffle, cep, gingerbread, it can be enjoyed with the aperitif, but also in delicious recipes, stews or other dishes with sauce.
