Inspired by Provencal traditions, this green tapenade is prepared with Picholine olives from our groves in Provence. The term “tapenade” comes from “Tapeno” which means caper in Provencal.
This tapenade is characterised by a smooth texture with flavours and tastes close to fruit, in particular the taste of hazelnuts, typical of the Picholine green variety.
It can be enjoyed on fresh bread or toast, as a garnish for raw vegetables, on fresh pasta, in an omelette, in a tomato salad, in poultry stuffing, in the sauce of a veal or pork roast, or to season delicious dishes. Discover our gourmet recipes...
Ingredients: Treated Picholine olive mash from “La Lieutenante” 87% (olives, salt, citric acid), extra virgin olive oil “La Lieutenante”, capers 3%, garlic, anchovy cream (fish), lemon juice concentrate.
